Our latest award winner has been selected as Joy Harrison from Bradford Children and Families Trust!

Joy was nominated for her exceptional work as an ASYE social worker, exceeding all expectations for her stage of career. She was praised for placing children's voices at the centre of her work. Her manager also highlighted her positivity, resilience, and proactive advocacy for children as reasons she's a pleasure to manage and a strong role model of good practice.

Here’s the lovely well-deserved feedback from our judges:

We were delighted to see the progress that Joy has made over the nine months that she has been a qualified social worker. It is a huge transition to make going from being a student social worker to being a qualified social worker and we could see that Joy has managed this transition really well. We could see that Joy has a real dedication for the children she is working with and that is a great bedrock on which to build her social work career.  She is obviously a great asset for her team and for Bradford – well done Joy!
