Our judging panel from Bradford Children and Families Trust have selected the next CSWM award winner for the month of May. Congratulations to Kimberley Robinson from City of York Council who has been selected from the nominations!

Kimberley’s nomination highlighted her reflective and thorough work, being child focused, and having a non-judgmental approach.

“What stood out was Kimberley’s child focused approach underpinned by building relationships, using the voice of the child to drive the plan. We also loved her tenacious approach to challenge the plans to ensure that the right outcome for the child which was evident through the observations captured about how things had changed for the child.”

Danielle Johnson, Director of Safeguarding, Children’s Services, City of York Council, said: “Kimberley is an incredibly dedicated member of our team and I’m delighted that her outstanding, child-centred work has been recognised with this award.”

The CSWM Awards are our monthly award which celebrates social workers who go above and beyond. Each of our partner local authorities and adoption agencies can make one nomination per month. The winner is picked by our guest judges - senior colleagues from different local authorities.
