We’re pleased to announce the latest CSWM award winner is Rosie Bell from Hull City Council!

Rosie was nominated for her exceptional work supporting children in care and championing for their needs to be heard. Colleagues and families alike describe her as someone who thinks beyond the immediate task, focusing on building networks and creating stability for the future. She has been praised as a selfless, kind and caring social worker. Her team are so proud and feel she should have some recognition for the long service she has provided to children.

Our judging panel from North Yorkshire shared their lovely well-deserved feedback which led to their decision:

It was fantastic to read about how Rosie builds relationships with the children she is social worker for but what stood out to us reading the nomination, was how she is consistently ambitious, striving for them to achieve their best and going the extra mile in order to support them to be the best version of themselves they can be. The feedback from the young person echoed this and how much they had appreciated and benefited from Rosie’s support. We would like to congratulate Rosie on winning this month’s CSWM award.

Judges: Mel Hutchinson - Assistant Director, Children & Young People Service, Jo Miles – Principal Social Worker and Sam Clayton – Head of Effective Practice and Quality Assurance.

Congratulations, Rosie!

The CSWM Awards are our monthly award which celebrates social workers who go above and beyond. Each of our partner local authorities and adoption agencies can make one nomination per month. The winner is picked by our guest judges - senior colleagues from different local authorities.
