Your role in our journey

As a highly committed and motivated individual you will be proactive in engaging families with children aged 0-25 years into the Family Centre offer.

You will be part of a wider Family Centre team, who together, provide early help to some of our most vulnerable families across the borough.

The role will include working and travelling across the Barnsley targeting, planning and delivering a range of outreach activities in different venues across the locality.

What you’ll need 

Alongside a Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline you will also need to evidence that you have relevant experience of working with children, young people and their families.

Your communication skills, flexible approach and flair for building relationships will really set you apart.
You will have an understanding of safeguarding and be able to adhere to safeguarding policy.
