We are now offering an exciting opportunity for a Team Manager to join our highly acclaimed service and help us continue delivering excellence for children and families.

 

About the Role

As a Team Manager, you will lead and manage Social Workers with the support of a Practice Supervisor to ensure the delivery of an effective social work service to children and their families in accordance with the relevant policies and procedures. You will:

 

  • Provide clear leadership and drive the strength in Relationship Practice Model, which places effective relationships at the heart of our work.
  • Oversee timely assessments, safeguarding decisions, and care planning to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people.
  • Manage team performance, budgets, and resources to meet service priorities and Ofsted standards.
  • Champion multi-agency collaboration with partners such as Health, Education, and Police.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
  • Extensive experience in child protection, complex case management, and leadership within social care.
  • Strong people management skills and the ability to lead through change and innovation.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and partnership working skills.
  • A good understanding of the challenges that children and families face
  • A drive to make a positive change, promoting the development of the Strength in Relationship Practice model
