It’s ideal location allows for easy access via the motorway or rail into the town centre or the surrounding area. Calderdale is a place where you can make a difference.

Calderdale Council’s Children’s Services have recently been judged by Ofsted as ‘Good’ overall with outstanding features for all our services to children in care and care leavers. The Hub is based at Halifax Police Station in a multi-agency setting which involves the Police and Children’s Social Care, alongside other relevant partner agencies. Alongside the two social workers in the Hub from Social Care there are also two Project Workers who support the work being undertaken with children and their families.

We are seeking an experience social worker to ensure that children, who are at risk or affected by exploitation receive the appropriate support to meet their needs. The role includes undertaking child exploitation risk assessments, child and family single assessments, section 47 enquiries and covers all aspects of planning.
