Job description

What you’ll be doing As a Lead Officer, Fostering & Commissioning, North Lincolnshire Council, you’ll manage team of Practice Supervisors, providing supervision and support across a range of regulatory functions including recruitment, assessment and support of our foster carers, kinship carers and supported lodgings providers. You’ll ensure that our carers receive the right support at the right time to ensure children in their care experience care and love. You will be a visible member of the team, attending regular events and activities with our carers and children. You'll be open to feedback to ensure voice and impact support us to provide stable homes for children. You’ll also work closely with colleagues and partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes for children and young people.

Who we’re looking for We’re looking for a committed, proactive social worker who can thrive in a busy team and keep children at the centre of decision-making.

You’ll need:

• A recognised social work qualification

• Registration with Social Work England

• A collaborative, solution-focused approach

• Resilience and sound professional judgement

• The ability to travel independently across North Lincolnshire ( drivers licence & vehicle)
