Your Role
We are seeking an Child Protection Chair who is a registered qualified and experienced Social Worker.
You will chair child protection conferences and monitor the progress of child protection plans to ensure that children are supported and protected leading to positive outcomes.
Within this you will engage with children, families and their wider family networks, to ensure that their views contribute to child protection plans. You will also liaise with a wide range of multi-agency practitioners and engage them in the child protection conferencing process.
The role includes a quality assurance function where you will monitor through audit and case tracking the progression of children’s child protection plans to support our safeguarding responsibilities.
As part of our team, you will be supported with compassionate, relational practice to help you thrive in your Child Protection Chair role.
