Adoption Social Worker

 Grade : JK

 Salary : From £35,745 up to  £40,221 per annum, pro rata

 Hours : Full & Part time positions available 

 Contract Type : Permanent

 Location : Harrogate & Knaresborough Area. We very much promote flexible working with the option to work remotely from home at times. Whilst your base will be identified within a specific location, you may at times, be required to work from other bases across the county.

We also welcome those who are looking to relocate. North Yorkshire Council’s adoption service is part of One Adoption North and Humber, a high performing regional adoption agency.

It is a role, which gives social workers the opportunity to operate within a range of contexts; undertaking assessments of prospective adopters, providing adoption support services to children and families, providing preparation training to prospective adoptive parents and being part of a professional team to support the matching and placing of children.
