What’s expected of you?

 

As a Enhanced Senior Social Worker in our Locality teams, you will play a crucial role in improving the lives of children and young people. You will work in the area you are responsible for, building strong relationships with families, communities, and partner organisations.

 

You will be part of small, supportive teams, led by engaged senior managers who champion restorative, relationship-based practice.

 

What will you be doing?

 

  • Working restoratively with families to assess need and deliver interventions that reduce risk.
  • Building meaningful, professional relationships to support children and young people to achieve stability and positive outcomes.
  • Working closely with partner agencies, Early Help, and Parent Hubs to support families to make lasting positive change.
  • Producing high‑quality assessments and reports, using sound analysis to support good decision‑making.

Essential Requirements:

 

  • BA/MA in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Council for Education & Training in Social Work
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Experience working with children and families as a qualified Social Worker
  • Strong relationship-building skills with children, families, partners, and colleagues
  • Ability to produce high-quality assessments and reports with clear, effective analysis
