Contract Type: Permanent 

Vacancy Hours: 18.5 per week 

Location: Harrogate. We very much promote flexible working. Whilst your base will be identified within a specific location, you may at times, be required to work from other bases across the county.

 

North Yorkshire Council have a national reputation for excellence, and we are looking for an Adoption Family Support Worker with a variety of experience and skills to join our Adoption Team. We also welcome those who are looking to relocate. North Yorkshire Council’s adoption service is part of One Adoption North and Humber, a high performing regional adoption agency.

Working in the adoption team is an exciting, challenging, unique and rewarding job. As a Family Support Worker, you will be a team player; completing pieces of work including direct work with children and families, leading initiatives for supporting families, such as parenting support, maintaining relationships between adopted children and their birth family and working alongside the social workers to deliver support to our children and families.
