About you:

We would like to hear from experienced practitioners at an advanced level who can demonstrate;

  • an ability to work closely with partner agencies and to coordinate multi-agency action;
  • an understanding of safeguarding, particularly in the context of children and young people who go missing or are at risk of exploitation or trafficking;
  • a high level of skill in chairing meetings to focus on risk and risk reduction for individual children and wider communities;
  • a relentless commitment to high quality social work practice;
  • an ability to model and talk about what good practice looks like for children, young people and families;
  • a high level of ambition for vulnerable children and families;
  • a relentless focus on service quality and continuous improvement in order to improve outcomes for children and young people.

You will be required to understand your team’s performance and provide regular supervision to team members in a way which supports confident and autonomous practice.  You will also work with peers to develop practice across the locality as part of the Service Improvement Plan.
