One Adoption West Yorkshire is recruiting a Team Manager
Location: Leeds office Adoption Support
We are seeking to recruit a Team Manager within One Adoption West Yorkshire. This is an exciting time to work alongside the other Adoption Support managers in continuing to shape the services we offer to children, young people, adoptive parents and birth families, ensuring that the adoption service we provide is timely, flexible and responsive.
There are 4 Adoption Support teams in One Adoption West Yorkshire, covering the whole of the West Yorks region. The Leeds team is unique in that there are 2 team managers to oversee what is the largest of the 4 teams.
The successful candidate will need to work closely with the other existing manager.
We are looking for candidates who have the potential to lead and inspire a team, ensuring good quality services to children who are adopted and adoption support to adoptive and birth families.
You will need to engage well with children and their families and demonstrate the ability to work within a quality assurance framework, to foster positive working relationships with partners and to provide good quality support and supervision for staff. You will be expected to lead on particular areas of service development and delivery. In return we can provide you with an excellent supportive working environment with ample opportunity to increase your professional development within the arena of adoption support.
The work is often complex and challenging, but ultimately rewarding. If you feel you have the skills and experience, we would love to hear from you.
For an informal discussion about the post please contact Julie Chew, Service Delivery Manager, One Adoption West Yorkshire on 07712 216762.
