Your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment aims to consolidate your learning from university and support you to further develop and improve your practice. In the Trust’s Academy, the ASYE includes:

  • A comprehensive induction to welcome you to the Trust and to Doncaster
  • Mandatory and bespoke training, workshops, action learning sets and other learning opportunities to underpin your studies and provide a firm foundation to you social work career
  • One to one and group supervision
  • Dedicated time to focus on ASYE development
  • Protected time to compete your ASYE Reflective Portfolio
  • Support and advice from the Workforce Development Team and Centre for Excellence
  • Self-directed learning
  • Shadowing opportunities with a range of services and professionals

After completing your ASYE a consolidation of learning year will be offered to really bring your practice to the highest of standards
