Commissioned by Doncaster Council, children’s social care services have moved into an independent Trust, the first of its kind in the country.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Social Worker to join our developing Inspiring Futures Team who can demonstrate:

  • Experience of working with young people in care and leaving care.
  • Being committed to achieving positive outcomes for young people aged 16-18, 25 if requested.
  • A proven track record of establishing positive and meaningful relationships with young people

Doncaster leaving care is a busy service, working with over 330 young people. With partners across DMBC we aim to develop high quality service provision

Doncaster leaving care is a busy service, working with over 330 young people. With partners across DMBC we aim to develop high quality service provision. You will carry a case load, be responsible for pathway planning and achieving positive outcomes for our young people.

There are opportunities to lead in particular leaving care areas such as accommodation, welfare rights, participation etc.

This is a permanent full time appointment and subject to the normal Doncaster Children’s Services Trust recruitment & selection procedures.
