Service Manager Prevention & Intervention

Due to some investment we are keen to develop our service manager cohort and specifically keen to focus on Prevention and Intervention. This Service Manager post is new to the establishment and will be managing services linked to our Adolescent Strategy and Prevention such as Edge of Care, Family Group Conferencing, Child Exploitation, and Participation.

To be considered for this role you will need to be a qualified children’s social worker, a Service Manager already or very experienced Team Manager in an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ organisation, knowing your contribution to this achievement.

Due to some investment we are keen to develop our service manager cohort and specifically keen to focus on Prevention and Intervention. This Service Manager post is new to the establishment and will be managing services linked to our Adolescent Strategy and Prevention such as Edge of Care, Family Group Conferencing, Child Exploitation, and Participation.

This is a pivotal role to support some amazing services and develop the offer to all children but with a real focus on Intervention Services, Prevention and our Adolescents.

We are very proud of our Preventative Services, and therefore looking for a service manager who is passionate, innovative and can build further on the amazing work already in place.

This role is responsible for ensuring our social work practice standards and performance are considered the best of the best. To achieve this the service manager will coach and encourage consistent management and leadership amongst team managers and social workers. You will be a walking example of distributed leadership and have energy, enthusiasm and passion for excellent social work.

To be considered for this role you will need to be a qualified children’s social worker, a Service Manager already or very experienced Team Manager in an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ organisation, knowing your contribution to this achievement.

You must also have a clear understanding of prevention services such as Edge of Care, Multi Systemic Therapy for Child Abuse and Neglect, Family Group Conferencing and a track record of building and leading cohesive services to empower families and ensure they receive the right support at the right time.
