The Complex Care Needs requires a Level 2 Social Worker. This is a permanent post. The Team carries out the full range of duties associated with children’s social work in line with local and national policy. This may include, for example, completing single assessments, child protection work, court work, looked after children, adoption work, children in in need, arranging packages of support, transition into adulthood and SEND reforms (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).

 

The Team works with children with complex care needs and their siblings if they are deemed to be at risk of significant harm. Applicants are not required to have experience of working with children with disabilities however an interest is essential. Applicants must have a Degree in Social Work or equivalent and they must be registered with the HCPC. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in a varied range of children’s social work.

 

The successful applicant will be required to complete a Disclosure and Barring Application Form and to provide any criminal conviction information.
