Then this is an exciting opportunity for social workers to join Wakefield Council’s Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team. This is an established experienced team and this is a unique opportunity for social workers looking for a change in their career or to be able to showcase their skills in a different way. As a MASH Social Worker.
You will be responsible for delivering social work support to children and their families, dealing effectively with enquiries across all sources, this may include members of the Public, parents, internal departments and professionals from other agencies. As a MASH Social Worker we will support you to achieve a work life balance whilst ensuring that Children and Families receive a high quality and outstanding Service .
We are invested in our Staff and ensure you have regular training opportunities and supervision. We are dedicated to improving our Service and are investing heavily in working restoratively with families and improving areas such as Domestic Abuse, County Lines, Prevent, Homeless and Missing You’ll be a team player too – working with colleagues in a range of disciplines, sharing knowledge, and providing support and advice to deliver the best possible outcomes for local children and their families.
You will be working with Social Workers, Health Professionals, Education , Housing And The Police Each day will bring some fresh new challenge but you will work in a supportive team with excellent team managers.
