This is an exciting new job opportunity for a Registered Children’s Home Manager to join our team as we are opening a new 2 bed home based in Doncaster for children and young people which aims to offer young people outstanding care within a therapeutic environment .

If you have the ability, drive and vision to grow and develop a high quality service then this role is for you.

You must have extensive experience of working with children in care in a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager role in a residential setting. We want the best for children and young people, ensuring we provide care, support and consistency that supports children to grow and develop. The voice and experiences of children is central to our work. We want you to be able to nurture and celebrate our children’s successes and provide guidance and support when they find things are tough. You will have previous experience of supervision and management of care staff.

As the Registered Manager you will have day to day responsibility for the home, and be able to understand high quality care, impact and quality assurance, managing and monitoring of budgets. You will be able to manage, support and develop a team to ensure they demonstrate the vision and goals of the organisation. You must have excellent leadership, management skills and strong good organisational skills. You will have recent experience of managing or working in a ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ home and have passion, drive, resilience and ambition to maintain and exceed expectations for children.

You must have up-to-date knowledge of Childcare legislation, Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015. As the Registered Manager, you will lead and manage the residential childcare team and oversee delivery of care plans, risk assessments and behavioural management plans for young people. You will ensure that the home meets the standards and expectations of its Statement of Purpose; and promote safeguarding and welfare of children.
