With this in mind, we are looking for a dynamic, inspiring individual who is passionate about the quality about providing high quality care and support to children. The successful candidate will provide management support and oversight to a team of Registered Managers so you will need to have a clear and thorough working knowledge of the Children’s Homes Regulations and Guidance, the National Minimum Standards and a clear understanding of Ofsted requirements and the inspection framework. This is a strategic role and will require the successful candidate to consider quality assurance, performance, impact, innovation and additionally experience of managing significant budgets and a large staff team. As part of the wider leadership team across the Trust, you will be responsible for improving experiences of children in care and ensuring children’s voice is central and supports service development.

You must have extensive experience of working with children in care as a Registered Manager in a children’s home setting and understand what good and outstanding looks like. We want the best for the children and young people ensuring that we provide high quality care, support and consistency, to allow children to grow and develop. The voice and experiences of children is central to our work. We want you to be able to nurture and celebrate our children’s successes and provide guidance and support when they find things get challenging. Understanding and improving the experiences of children and young people is central to our work.
