Salary £Up to £37,306 plus a Market Supplement of £1,500. Also £2,000 welcome package for external appointments

Assessment and Intervention – Our newly created Assessment and Intervention Service will ensure children, young people and their families receive timely assessments and interventions undertaken by one Social Worker providing consistency and letting you really get to know the families you are working with. We will have smaller teams to give you the support you need.

Travel is an essential part of this job and therefore it would be extremely difficult for you to do your job effectively if you did not use a car for all or most of the time.  It is essential that you hold a full and valid driving licence and it is expected that you will either use a council vehicle or your own car (exceptions can be made for disabled applicants).
