Doncaster Children’s Services Trust currently have a unique and exciting opportunityfor someone to join us working as a Domestic Abuse Navigator (DAN) as part of the DAN service which has evolved from a DfE funded innovation programme focusing on a whole family approach to domestic abuse.

|Salary||£Up To £35,469, depending upon experience|
The successful applicant will be joining a team of practitioners who are working to support families living with domestic abuse and help them to live together or separately better. This will include providing both psycho-educational and psychotherapeutic responses to support present and future recovery where necessary, as well as supporting the access to services where there is complex need.
This approach provides an opportunity to make a real and tangible difference to families. It creates possibilities for change to prevent the cycle of abuse perpetuating and ensures a healthier future for children and young people impacted by domestic abuse.
The post is Temporary Full Time and funded for 2 years until 31 March 2020.
