The Advanced Case Practitioner in the Fostering service will work alongside another Advanced Practitioner to supervise Social Workers within the team with casework and personal development.  Additionally, integral part of this role is to take a lead on identified areas of development in both recruitment and assessment or foster carer supervision and support.  There is also potential for the Advanced Practitioner to hold a small caseload of complex work.

We are looking for an experienced Social Worker for this role, with at least three years post qualifying experience, preferably with experience of working within a fostering service.  As this post holds responsibility for supervising social workers, it would also be desirable for the candidate to have experience of mentoring other social workers/ students and/or qualifications in Practice Education.

For an informal discussion please contact Katie Fisher (Team Manager) on 01302 735060.
