The Social Worker of the Year Awards are prestigious national awards recognising the challenges faced by social workers, celebrating their achievements, and promoting best practice at a national level.

There are 16 award categories in total, which cover the full range of social work practice and include awards for individuals, teams and employers. Children’s Social Work Matters is proudly sponsoring the “Newly Qualified Children’s Social Worker of the Year” category for the second year running. Last year’s winner in our category was Jessica Raper from East Riding – hopefully this year we’ll see some more award winners from Yorkshire & Humberside!
