Children’s Social Workers in Yorkshire and the Humber are incredibly passionate about the work they do. They feel privileged to be part of a process that helps children feel safe. Every day they help to protect the most vulnerable children in our society. So to give our Children’s Social Workers a voice and the chance to share their experience, passion and genuine love of the work they do, we’ve created a team of Champions.
Our Champions are real social workers who work right across the region. You can ask our Champions a question about any aspect of working with children. You might be looking for a more rewarding career and thinking of retraining as a Children’s Social Worker. Perhaps you’re a graduate and you’re looking for your first job and need some help and direction. Or, you might already be a qualified Children’s Social Worker who left the profession or you’re working in a different region.
